Our  Patron

Born in 1966 Chris Packham took a degree in zoology from the University of Southampton. He started work as a television presented in 1985. He currently jointly presents the popular BBC programmes Springwatch and Autumnwatch. In April 2006 while preparing a 10 minute  slot for the programme "Nature's Calendar" he visited the Eyes with a coach party from the West Midlands Bird Club. This programme was broadcast in February 2007. Chris was sufficiently impressed with the Eyes and the work of WECG to accept our invitation to be the patron of the group.
