Recent sightings

On 10th July, 2 Little Egrets flew east over No3 bed and waders are beginning to be attracted to areas of mud as the water recedes: 4 Redshank were on the Loop of No4 bed last week. Good numbers of butterflies have been seen in the warm weather most pleasing of all being over 30 Small Tortoiseshells, the highest count for about 5 years.
